GETTING PAID TO POST ON INSTAGRAM

The Journal

My first series for The Journal has been aimed at encouraging practices that bring balance to one’s personal wellness routine. Named “Thoughtful Indulgence,” I wanted a vessel to relieve my stress about participating in the wellness industry. You can drink wine, do yoga, get acupuncture, and eat cheese (not all at the same time). I wanted women to feel like they didn’t have to be just one way, rather, they could be dimensional. One practice doesn’t necessitate or cancel out another. How can we be the best we can be while being bad?

Boketto

My beginnings at Boketto allowed me to learn from some very thoughtful and experienced women. From this internship, I was hired as a copywriter, content writer, and social media coordinator. Since then, I have furthered my skills in the marketing field and gained an advanced understanding of analytics on a multi-platform level.

Lunaception

My primary responsibilities at Lunaception are in the realm of brand strategy and art direction. Having total control of the company’s Instagram feed has given me the opportunity to play around and determine the best overall aesthetic for the company itself. An aesthetic curated to attract customers who might be interested in Lunaception’s services and products.

Sometimes I moonlight as a cocktail photographer.

Richmond has bloomed in the brightest of ways since I returned to the city in 2007. For those who missed out, I captured part of what makes this city wonderful.
